Building A List Fast Through JV Giveaways
If you haven’t had a chance yet to read through “List Building With Alex” then I recommend that you do. Alex leads you through step by step how he built his email list up into the thousands.
If you have read it then you already know that he recommends joining JV Giveaways to quickly build your list.
What Is A JV Giveaway?
A JV Giveaway is where a bunch of internet marketers submit free gifts for members to download. Then members can download these gifts at no cost, all they have to do is sign up for your email list.
There is no charge for you to participate. The only requirement is that you promote the giveaway. Usually the more members and contributors you refer to the giveaway the higher your free gift will rank.
These giveaway events generally last about 1 to 2 weeks.
I had never heard of JV Giveaways until I read Alex’s free report. Now that I’ve learned a little bit about them I’m finding that these giveaways are being held quite often.
Not only are they great for marketers that want to build their lists, but they are also a great place to stock up on all kinds of free internet marketing reports, software and all kinds of things for free.
You can use these gifts for your own personal use or you can use some of them to provide value to your own readers.
Here are a list of some upcoming Joint Venture Giveaway events. Check them out, like I said, there is no cost to join.

But, Heidi, I don’t know how to set everything up …
Believe me, if I can do it, you can do it. It took me a little while to figure everything out, but now that I know what I’m doing I can set up my squeeze page, optin and thank you page fairly quickly. Of course, they may not be the best, but you don’t need to be perfect.
You want to build a list, right? Then sign up for a giveaway now. You will learn as you go.
If you want to learn more about what JV Giveaway’s are and everything you need to know about setting up your own gift, here is a free ebook by Jerry Iannucci that explains everything in great detail.

Hello Heidi,
Great post on Giveaways. Giveaway events are the best place for anyone to start building their list, and you give an excellent insight in what you need to do about joining an event.
Good list too, a great base for people to come and sign up for future events.
Take care,
Paul

Hey Heidi,
Well done on your blog post…you’ve done a great job
My listbuilding’s going ok at the moment…but it’s frustrating how many potential subscibers don’t follow thru with the 2nd opt-in! Not to mention the unsubscribes (running at over 25% at the minute
)
Looking forward to the adswap…maybe we should postpone it until Easter time….hopefully we’ll have a list of around 500 by then eh?
Best wishes,
Cliff

Hi Heidi,
Thanks for visiting and leaving me a comment last month, sorry I’ve not been over here sooner, just been very busy lately.
JV Giveaways are definitely the best thing to be doing to get your list started, that how I got my first 80 or so, then I started adswaps too.
I still join every giveaway event I can even now.
I’m almost at 1300 now, not sure how many you’ve got on your list now, but if you get in touch with me and you have Skype, I can hook you up with a lot of people with smaller lists of about 300-500 if you want, and also people with huge lists.
Also if you want to try and match clicks with me, we can set something up, I’ve got free dates in March still.
Take care,
Paul

Hi Heidi,
JV giveaways are really a great way to tap into list building especially for newbies. I recently started joining as many as I could but quickly realized if I don’t upgrade my account the chances for me to get subscribers through them is pretty slim.
But you could always promote a gift through a blog for instance, and start building that list up to the point you have at least 100 subscribers. Then, you could start promoting the JV giveaways you joined and encourage your subscribers to join as contributors and build their list!
It’s a great way to get things going really fast by applying this single crucial viral marketing element.
All the best,
Remi
