Goals & Progress
My Goals & Progress One of the first things I have learned with Alex Jeffrey’s Coaching program is setting goals. You want to write them down on paper, read them regularly and hold yourself accountable to them. You should create business goals, entrepreneurial goals and personal goals. I will revisit my goals regularly, post updates, accomplishments and any adjustments that might need to be made.
Heidi’s 2010 GoalsEntrepreneurial Goals (what I want from all this)1. Quit my day job and do internet marketing full time. 2. Pay of all my debt ($15,000) 3. Be able to plan my own schedule and take trips when I want. 4. Have money in savings that I do not need to dip into/ or money that I can put into investments. Business Goals1. Consistently make $4,500 a month by end of the year. 2. Have a subscriber list of 5000 people by the end of the year. 3. Create 2-3 products to sell. Personal Goals1. Make eating healthy and fitness a part of my life. 2. Lose 50 pounds (currently working on this, 10 down so far!) - I am blogging about my progress and the program we are on at http://www.myroadtoweightloss.com 3. Plan a trip to Washington to visit parents and old friends. I would love to go for 2 weeks. When I do visit it’s always so short, because I have to get back home to my day job. 4. Plan a trip to somewhere I have never been, somewhere warm! 5. Possibly move to a nicer area. Right now I live 3 minutes from my day job, but once I’m doing IM full time I can move where ever I want. =) 6. Take my parents out to a nice dinner and my sister. They have done so much for me for years. Maybe in 2011 I’ll take them all on a trip … =) But I’m going to plan quite that far yet. What I am planning for first 90 Days (Starting Feb 1):

Good luck Heidi. I wish you great success. I’m a newbie too, far behind you. I haven’t even got as far as a blog yet & like you, at the information overload stage. (Haven’t a clue what i’m doing yet!) If you are keen on video in your business, check out my son, Josh Bartlett’s ‘EasyVideoPlayer’. just launched. You’ll need this to stay ahead of the game, maybe a bit later for you though. Here are a few links to give you an idea of what it does. Ohh, by the way,..my son isn’t a newbie! Ask Alex about him,.. Josh was on his program last year. Sorry so many links, but good info.

Good luck with your business!
Tony Bartlett.
Hi Tony – Thanks for commenting. These are some great resources. I actually signed up for Matt’s Wordpress classroom early on because I’m much better learning visually. It’s an awesome course. I also signed up for Easy Video Player before I even had a camera. LOL (I have my camera now, so now it’s time to start learning how to use it) Good luck to you as well!
Hello Heidi
Just another ALex J student…
Those are some very inspirational lists of tasks. I’m inspired by your commitment to your business in the face of all the other things on your plate.
So be encouraged! And if I can help with anything, please come over and ask.
Regards
Anthony
Hi Anthony,
Thank you so much. I find that I get distracted so easily and then start getting overwhelmed. I am trying my best to focus on my goals.
Thanks, Heidi
