The name sounds simply great! K.O.T.O.B.O.T. I don’t entirely agree with the idea about the “idiot with a plan” but the idea in itself is interesting. The problem with plans is that they also have to be actionable to actually work (procrastinators take special note)…

Hi Heidi,

JV giveaways are really a great way to tap into list building especially for newbies. I recently started joining as many as I could but quickly realized if I don’t upgrade my account the chances for me to get subscribers through them is pretty slim.

But you could always promote a gift through a blog for instance, and start building that list up to the point you have at least 100 subscribers. Then, you could start promoting the JV giveaways you joined and encourage your subscribers to join as contributors and build their list!

It’s a great way to get things going really fast by applying this single crucial viral marketing element.
