Guru’s Nightmare | Alex Must Be Mad Crazy

As many people have heard, Alex Jeffrey’s has come out with his new book “The Guru’s Nightmare”.  It was just released today.

It’s about 8 PM here in Sale Lake and I’m about half way through it right now.

I thought I’d take a few minutes and make a quick post on what I think of it so far.

If you didn’t get your free copy yet,

Guru's NightmareAlex is all about giving away valuable information to his readers. He genuinely cares that you succeed.

That is one of the reasons I signed up for his coaching program in June 2009.

Alex is the real deal. He doesn’t fill you full of hype and sales pitches.

In the Guru’s Nightmare he shares information that the normal guru’s would never think about giving away for free.

Guru’s probably think he’s gone mad crazy, but he hasn’t. He wants you to succeed with your online business.

If you’re not familiar with him, he’s written several free ebooks, such as the Guru’s Dream and Newbie’s Nightmare and now,

“The Guru’s Nightmare”.

He has been running his own coaching program for the last two years, teaching hundreds of students.

This year Alex is on track to having a million dollar year, so he knows what he is doing.

He has spent a lot of time this last year studying his students, to figure out what was holding those back that struggled and what the successful students were doing to have such great successes.

Several of Alex’s students have been able to quit their day jobs, and there’s many more on track to do so as well.

Well, I’m going to get back to reading before it gets too late.

I definitely recommend you get your copy too. There’s nothing for sale in it, no affiliate links.

He wrote this book to TEACH you.

Most ebooks don’t give you the full picture, only pieces of the picture. He doesn’t want you to only have the pieces.

Night all and take care,

Heidi

7 Simple Website Traffic Promotion Methods

10.03.2010
09:07

Now that you have you blog or site set up now it’s time to start focusing on website traffic promotion. To make money online you have to have traffic. The more traffic visiting your site the more money you can make.

website traffic promotion7 Simple Methods of Website Traffic Promotion

1. Forums

A great way of driving traffic to your blog is by posting in forums. You want to ask questions, answer other peoples questions, interact and engage with people. You don’t want to sell anything, just try to be a resource to others. The more value you provide to others the more likely they will become interested in you and visit your website. There are a ton of forums online, just search for your keyword with the word forum in Google.

2. Articles

Writing articles is an effective method of website traffic promotion. Many articles directories rank high in the search engines, so if you do your keyword research right you can generate a flood of traffic to your site. Another method would be to have your articles point to a squeeze page for them to opt into your email list.

3. BlogCatalog

Register at BlogCatalog. This is a great place to locate other people and sites in your niche. You can visit their blogs, leave comments and tap into their traffic. Find out who your competition is and even find contacts to do business with and JV partners.

4.  Press Releases

Press releases can also be a huge method of website traffic promotion. They can generate a ton of traffic if done right. You don’t want to be salesy in your press release. Write it in third person as if someone else was doing a write up on your site. Press releases can get you into Yahoo News. This will make you look like an authority figure to your readers.

5. Giveaways

You can drive traffic to your site and build your subscriber list by joining JV Giveaway Events. All you need is a short report that is about 5 to 15 pages. Either write your own short report or find a PLR ebook you can use. Usually unique ebooks will bring in more subscribers, but either way works.

6. Video Marketing

Did you know that about 52% of traffic comes from video? Create a video based on one keyword or multiple keywords. Then sign up for TrafficGeyser.com. When you upload it to TrafficGeyser you can submit your video 14 different video websites.

7. Blog Commenting

Drive traffic to your website through blog commenting. This is quite similar to forum posting because you want to provide value to the blogger. You don’t want to just post “Nice website” or “great tips” on hundreds of blogs. By adding value and making the time to write a good comment you can attract the attention of their other blog readers causing them to click through your link and visit your website.

Money starts with traffic. If you start following these website traffic promotion methods you will see your visitors increase. The more time you spend on these methods the better results you will see.

If you haven’t had a chance yet to read through “List Building With Alex” then I recommend that you do. Alex leads you through step by step how he built his email list up into the thousands.

If you have read it then you already know that he recommends joining JV Giveaways to quickly build your list.

What Is A JV Giveaway?

A JV Giveaway is where a bunch of internet marketers submit free gifts for members to download. Then members can download these gifts at no cost, all they have to do is sign up for your email list.

Free GiveAway EventThere is no charge for you to participate. The only requirement is that you promote the giveaway. Usually the more members and contributors you refer to the giveaway the higher your free gift will rank.

These giveaway events generally last about 1 to 2 weeks.

I had never heard of JV Giveaways until I read Alex’s free report. Now that I’ve learned a little bit about them I’m finding that these giveaways are being held quite often.

Not only are they great for marketers that want to build their lists, but they are also a great place to stock up on all kinds of free internet marketing reports, software and all kinds of things for free.

You can use these gifts for your own personal use or you can use some of them to provide value to your own readers.

Here are a list of some upcoming Joint Venture Giveaway events. Check them out, like I said, there is no cost to join.
